Carl Hester signs H&H transport petition
Dressage supremo Carl Hester is the latest high-profile rider to support H&H’s “stop the transport madness” campaign.
Carl joins Mary King and Tim Stockdale in signing H&H’s petition against the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) strict ruling banning anyone with a full-time job driving an HGV lorry on both weekend days.
Carl said: “These EU laws are intended to control commercial haulage businesses, VOSA is trying to apply them to riders even if they don’t make profit from their journeys.”
As H&H went to press last Monday, 4,312 people had signed the petition.
