Technology company targets equine market

  • A new company focusing on the equine sports market has been launched by the Cambridge Design Partnership.

The flagship product the Gmax Trackwork gathers live performance data from groups of training horses in training.

In the UK it is used by the Coral Champions Club to allow 4000 of their members follow the training of their horses over the internet.

Also in the Gmax range is the first hand held equine ECG, currently in use at Dubai International Endurance City.

The Gmax ‘Treadmill” monitors horses during treadmill exercises to create a history of training responses.

Will Bradley, the managing director of Gmax said: “We have created products which deliver valuable insights into the physiological effects of training.”
