Donkey Sanctuary sets up pop up campsite
The Donkey Sanctuary Assisted Therapy Centre, Swan Lane, Off Blackhill Lane, Eccup, are palnning to host a special Tour de France campsite for 60 families to enjoy the road race while pitching tents in a field adjacent to 20 donkeys. All money raised by the campsite will go towards the charity and its donkey assisted riding therapy centre. The Donkey Sanctuary is opening a pop up campsite at its site in Leeds for the start of the Tour de France this summer.
The sanctuary is close to the top vantage points of the “grand depart” stage from Leeds to Harrogate on 5 July.
