Countrywide Farmers’ employee wins award at BETA International
A Countrywide Farmers’ employee was awarded the British Equestrian Trade Association’s (BETA) “Employee of the Year” title.
Andrea Leavis was presented with the award — which is sponsored by equestrian clothing company Harry Hall — at BETA’s business awards held on 17 February near Birmingham.
The award is given to a retail employee showing initiative, excellence in customer service and good product knowledge.
“I would feel happy to leave the shop in her care, knowing that it would be professionally run while I was gone,” said one judge.
Julie Walton from equestrian supplier Speedgate was the runner-up.
