David Cameron says “Hunting ban is a farce”

Conservative leader David Cameron last night reiterated his intention to offer a free vote on hunting if his party is elected to power.

In an interview broadcast last night on TalkSport radio, Mr Cameron said the hunting ban is not working.

“We’d give MPs a free vote on overturning the hunting ban and if the vote went through there’d be a Government Bill to get rid of it,” said Mr Cameron. “My own view is that the hunting ban is not working — it’s a farce.”
