Avondhu hunt to appeal Irish Masters of Foxhounds Association decision

  • THE Avondhu Foxhounds are appealing the decision of the Irish Masters of Foxhounds Association (IMFHA) to take disciplinary action against them.

The hunt, from Co Cork, Ireland, is accused of maltreating a fox during a joint meet with the Ormond and the Coniston on 8 March.

A disciplinary committee of the IMFHA had decided to take sanctions against the Avondhu but the hunt has appealed the decision, said IMFHA spokesman Brian Munn.
