When it’s freezing outside and the days are short, horse owners are usually longing for the warm days of the summer.
But as fields around Britain and overseas are carpeted in snow, we asked H&H readers to send in their pictures of horses making the most of the wintry weather and received a fantastic response.

Fione, 11, and Arabella, eight, from highland Perthshire, wanted to build snow ponies, but decided their sculptures ended up more like snow camels.
