Former four-star event rider Philip Surl has been appointed as assistant to Team GBR’s eventing performance manager Yogi Breisner.

Philip is currently British Eventing (BE)’s co-ordinator for the eastern region and a UKCC Level Three coach.

His new role will include running the Equine Pathway for potential World Class horses and the Nations Cup squad who will contest the FEI’s new CICO*** series.
