Farewell to Tetton Hall horse trials organiser Frances Kinsey


  • Frances Kinsey, who ran the popular Tetton Hall Horse Trials for 23 years, died on 12 March. She was 88.

    Frances and her husband Dick last ran Tetton Hall when they were both 82. The late Caroline Pratt was based at their yard in Middlewich, Cheshire, and she rode several of the Kinseys’ horses to great success.

    Frances leaves Dick, her husband of 65 years, a son, five grandchildren and a great-grandson.
