The manufacturers describe this coat as an extra-long, oversized robe that provides ample coverage over your riding wear and even doubles as a convenient changing robe – hence that roomy fit.
I tested this coat (along with lots of other robe-style coats) in adult XS (I’m a UK12) I would normally size up in coats to accommodate for layers when it gets cold. However, with the oversized fit the XS still had plenty of room for extra layers.
I have worn this coat for walking, riding, yard chores and camping in very wet and windy conditions and it has not let me down. Even with regular use and washing it has fared well.
