Rio 2016 Olympics eventing

eventing-logoThe Rio Olympics eventing competition includes two days of dressage, followed by a single day of cross-country, and a single day of showjumping. There are two rounds of showjumping on the final day; the first round decides the team medals, with the top 25 riders jumping a second time for individual honours.

Rio Olympics eventing timetable

  • 6 August: dressage (UK time: 2pm – 8.00pm)
  • 7 August: dressage (UK time: 2pm – 8.00pm)
  • 8 August: cross-country (UK time: 2pm – 7.00pm)
  • 9 August: showjumping (team and individual rounds), plus medal ceremonies (UK time: 2pm- 7.30pm)
