Aidan Coleman

Aidan Coleman (born 17 August 1988) is an Irish-born, British-based horseracing National Hunt (jump) jockey.

Born in Innishannon, Cork, Ireland, Aidan rode in the 2008 Grand National at the age of 19, his first time riding in this race, which made him one of the youngest riders ever to start the Grand National.

In April 2009, Aidan won the Conditional Championship, which meant he was the leading Conditional jockey in the UK for the 2008 season.

Aidan now has over 1,000 National Hunt career wins to his name.

In October 2020, he was appointed the number one stable jockey for National Hunt trainer Olly Murphy, and has raced for the likes of highly successful trainers, Venetia Williams, Nicky Henderson and Jonjo O’Neill during his career.
