Unex Towerlands junior premier show jumping show


  • Emma Stoker and George Whitaker headed the John Whitaker International Winter JA Classics at Unex Towerlands.

    In Saturday’s class tickets went to Ria Ginley (CJ’s Kemosabi), Rachael Connor (The Irish Builder) and Danielle Willett (New York Skyline). On Sunday second and third spots went to Oliver Evans (Paddy Power) and Claire Bailey (Midwest Star). The final ticket went to Emma Stoker on Tick Tock Two Tone.

    With five Royal International places on offer, the winter JC classes were also hard-fought. Oliver Evans on Birchill Dessie emerged victorious ahead of Abbie Squires (Kingstong) and
    Katie Wood (Mosstown Patience). Two more JC tickets were on offer on day two and went to Scarlett Ward riding Salvador IV and Alison Barton on Bradley Brown.

    Solihull tickets were on offer in the Blue Chip Sparkle and Kitt-Kraiburg Coral classes. The honours in the sparkle went to Jessie Drea on Diego Flow, while Claudia Rees riding 138cm pony Love Me De L’Orne came out top of the coral field.
