Emma Stoker and George Whitaker headed the John Whitaker International Winter JA Classics at Unex Towerlands.

In Saturday’s class tickets went to Ria Ginley (CJ’s Kemosabi), Rachael Connor (The Irish Builder) and Danielle Willett (New York Skyline). On Sunday second and third spots went to Oliver Evans (Paddy Power) and Claire Bailey (Midwest Star). The final ticket went to Emma Stoker on Tick Tock Two Tone.

With five Royal International places on offer, the winter JC classes were also hard-fought. Oliver Evans on Birchill Dessie emerged victorious ahead of Abbie Squires (Kingstong) and
Katie Wood (Mosstown Patience). Two more JC tickets were on offer on day two and went to Scarlett Ward riding Salvador IV and Alison Barton on Bradley Brown.
