Nicky Jennings is Scottish ladies’ show jumping champion


  • Nicky Jennings became the new Scottish ladies’ champion after jumping the sole first-round clear at Ayr Show on the impressive Sky Classic.

    The other two tickets to the Queen Elizabeth II Cup at the Royal International Horse Show went to Vicky Tulloch riding Soliegette and Tracey Newman with Alcina.

    Andrew Hamilton retained his Scottish gentleman’s title riding Ingliston House Stud’s Allround. Irishman Tom Davin delivered the only other first-round clear with Concordville for second place.

    Leo Lorimer won the Scottish JC Championship on the 10-year-old strawberry roan Mini Cooper.
