Rio 2016 Olympics showjumping

jumping-logoThe Rio Olympics showjumping competition is run over four days, with the first three counting towards the team medals. Only the top 35 riders after the first three days go forward to the individual competition, which is run over two rounds on a single day to decide the individual medals.

Olympic showjumping timetable

  • 14 August: first qualifier (UK time: 2pm – 5.45pm)
  • 16 August: team round one (UK time: 2pm – 5.30pm)
  • 17 August: team round two, plus medal ceremony (UK time: 2pm – 4.45pm)
  • 19 August: individual final, plus medal ceremony (UK time: 2pm – 6.45pm)
