The sale also includes many fillies with top bloodlines, including the Sadler’s Wells half sister to the three Classic/Group 1 winners Sleepytime, Ali Royal and Taipan and the Danehill half sister to Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner Sagamix and Group 1 winning two year old Sagacity.
Other fillies of note include the Sadler’s Wells first foal out of Aspen Leaves, a winning daughter of the legendary Fall Aspen, herself the dam of five Group 1 winners and granddam of Champion Dubai Millennium.
Tattersalls chairman Edmond Mahony says: “This is an exciting catalogue. We have seen some very high class yearlings this spring and in a year when we have dual-Derby winner High Chaparral flying the Houghton flag, it is great to have put together a sale with such strength and depth. As ever there are any number of colts with proper stallion’s pedigrees, and we have not seen such aquality collection of fillies for many years.”
