The dressage is sited on a football pitch with the showjumping arena top-dressed and maintained by the agronomy students. There is ample warm-up space for both phases, plus a spacious showjumping arena.

The cross-country is designed by Adrian Ditcham. The course is intended to be flowing and confidence building. The terrain is undulating and the soil loamy. The courses are best suited to first-time riders, young horses or combinations stepping up a level.
