Young rider round-up: Calling all potential 2012 Olympians

  • Calling all potential 2012 Olympians…

Scholarships worth £30,000 are now available to potential Olympic riders. Middlesex University will award the scholarships to promising sportsmen who have the potential to compete in the London 2012 Olympics.

There are two scholarships available this year and applicants will need the endorsement of their governing body performance director to be considered.

Applicants will need to apply for any Middlesex undergraduate programme in order to be considered, and they will also need a letter of support from your sport’s national body (ie British Eventing or British Dressage), indicating their potential as a 2012 Olympian for Great Britain.

It is also possible that a film production company will produce a documentary to follow the progress of the scholars in the build up to the Olympics.
