  • In the run-up to the world’s greatest horse race – the Martell Grand National – users of Horse and Hound Online and readers of Horse & Hound magazine have the chance to win a luxury visit to Aintree by nominating their greatest three Grand Nationalwinners.

In addition, the combined votes will help select three special covers for the 5 April issue of Horse & Hound magazine – the Thursday before the race.

The lucky winner will receive a pair of tickets to the Martell Grand National at Aintree Racecourse on 7 April. The prize includes two entrance badges, seats in the prestigious Sky restaurant overlooking the course, morning coffee, a four- course lunch, a complimentary bar, afternoon tea and entertainment.

Two runners-up will each win a pair of County Stand roof badges for Foxhunter day on Thursday, 5 April, together with a goody bag of prizes, courtesy of the website www.official-merchandise.co.uk, which offers a range of official products.

Each winner will receive a polo shirt, pin badge, the book The Grand National: Aintree’s Official Illustrated History by Reg Green (the winner’s and first runner-up’s copies will be autographed by the author), and a print oftheir choice.

In the issues of 22 February and 1 March of Horse & Hound, we featured the winners of the race since 1900. The remaining winners will be listed in Horse & Hound issue dates 8 March.

To enter, simply choose your favourite winners, and either fill in the form in the 8 March issue of Horse & Hound or email your entry to andrew_tucker@ipcmedia.com. Postal entries should be sent to: Horse & Hound/ Grand National Competition, Room 2018, King’s Reach Tower, Stamford Street, London SE1 9LS by Thursday, 22 March

The top three horses will be featured on the front cover of the 5 April Horse & Hound when that week’s edition of the magazine will be available with three different covers.

Winners will be announced in Horse & Hound. The Editor’s decision is final, normal IPC Media terms and conditions apply.
