Unregistered horse vet faces disciplinary hearing


  • A vet from Co Durham accused of treating horses and ponies while not registered faces a disciplinary hearing at the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).

    Silke Lindridge of Consett Veterinary Centre in Co Durham and/or Winlaton Veterinary Centre in Tyne and Wear is due before the RCVS disciplinary committee for a two-day hearing beginning Tuesday, 8 September.

    Mrs Lindridge is charged with practising veterinary surgery on dogs, cats and equines between 1 January and 31 December 2007 when not registered in the Register of Veterinary Surgeons.
