Trailer and jumps stolen from a Devon Pony Club

  • A Pony Club in Devon is appealing for help after a trailer full of its jumps — bought with a lottery grant — were stolen.

Tetcott and South Tetcott Pony Club are asking for help after an Ifor Williams trailer containing a full set of Jump for Joy jumps disappeared.

The trailer and jumps were being stored at a yard near Holsworthy in Devon and were stolen over night on Monday 31 March and Tuesday 1 April.

Anne Luxton from Tetcott and South Tetcott Pony Club told H&H: “We’ve contacted the police but they have not been able to trace them yet.

“We’re hoping that we may still find them but what’s in Devon at 5pm could be the other side of the country within a few hours.

“The jumps are used for all our rallies and competitions. They were bought with a lottery grant in 2000 but are still in excellent condition.

“We’re asking people to please keep an eye open for an Ifor Williams flatbed trailer and a full set of Jump for Joy jumps being sold off cheaply.”
