Teenagers admit to killing Shetland ponies in Shropshire


  • Two teenagers have admitted shooting two Shetland ponies found dead in a field at a care home in Shropshire on 4 May 2008.

    Daniel Walker, 18, from Dodington, Whitchurch, admitted two firearms charges and being involved with the deaths of the ponies — Bill and Ben — at the hearing at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Thursday, 16 October.

    A 14-year-old boy who can not be named has also admitted similar charges.

    The pair are due back at Shrewsbury Crown Court pair for sentence in early December.
