Spillers continue to support British grooms

Feed company Spillers has renewed its sponsorship of the British Grooms Association (BGA) for the fifth consecutive year.

The BGA, a national organisation for grooms of all disciplines, was set up in May 2007 and has been sponsored by Spillers ever since.

Last year, the feed company introduced an equine nutrition qualification exclusively for BGA members. It also provides free specialist nutrition advice and support for competition yards.

Sarah Kitson, of Spillers’ parent company Mars Horsecare UK, said: “The BGA provides an invaluable service, helping to give hundreds of hardworking grooms the appreciation they deserve.

“We are delighted to continue with our sponsorship and also with the provision of practical nutritional advice to support grooms in making the right feed decisions on a day-to-day basis.”
