Riders fight for right to ride on Padworth Common


  • A group of riders are fighting for what they believe is their right to ride on Padworth Common near Reading.

    West Berkshire Council wants to fence the common to graze cattle and Exmoor ponies, and limit riding to bridleways.

    But the riders, with help from the British Horse Society, are fighting the planning application under the 1899 Commons Act.
