The Princess Royal, President of The Pony Club will be speaking at The Pony Club Conference, in Edinburgh, on 8 March. She will be speaking to an audience of officials from Pony Club branches and centres from around the country, and according to the Pony Club Handbook 2006, HRH will talk about the Pony Club volunteer.
A varied line-up of speakers will join the Princess at the conference, including Hugh Thomas, Director of the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials, who will discuss running events from the Pony Club to Badminton. One of the world’s leading veterinary surgeons, Dr Derek Knottenbelt, will be speaking about ragwort and in keeping with the Scottish theme, former international event rider Ian Stark will speak of his experiences in the horse world.
The conference runs from 10am to 4.30pm at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh. Applications to attend are available through Branch DCs and Centres. For more information please visit www.pcuk.org
