Police arrest a 47-year-old man over horsebox complaints

  • Police investigating customer complaints regarding Cotswold Horseboxes in Gloucestershire have arrested a 47-year-old man. In January, H&H received a string of complaints about Cotswold Horseboxes in Moreton Valance, run by Nick Hobson.

Customers claimed he had taken tens of thousands of pounds in deposits to build vehicles that failed to materialise (news, 1 February).

A police officer from Stroud CID confirmed to H&H an arrest was made last week.
“We arrested a 47-year-old male from his home address in Quedgley, a residential area,” said the officer. “He has assisted us with our enquiries and was released on police bail until 29 October, while we conduct further enquiries.”
