Patey Hats opens a new shop in the centre of London

  • Patey Hats is opening a shop in London on Friday (1 October) on Connaught Street, W2.

The shop is a few minutes walk from Marble Arch and Paddington stations. Like the existing Cirencester showroom, the London branch will be for fitting and purchase of hats. Manufacture will continue to take place in south London.

As well as the equestrian range of hunt caps, bowlers, polo hats and toppers, Patey Hats make theatrical, military and silk top hats.

With the new shop, Patey will be expanding its range to include trilbies, panamas and tweed hats.

Trevor Chapman, a director of Patey, said: “We are the only traditional hunt cap manufacturers to be approved by the Master of Foxhounds Association (MFHA).

“We are pleased that the new shop will allow people to be correctly and uniquely fitted to their headwear this coming hunting season.”

Patey has been an official supplier to the senior British eventing and dressage teams since the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.

    The new shop is at 35 Connaught Road, W2 2AZ, telephone 020 7706 7632. www.pateyhats.com
