Only Fools on Horses stars along with trainer Tim Stockdale will be staging a Christmas Special at the London International Horse Show (12th – 18th December). Jenni Falconer, who won the BBC show, will be joined by Nicki Chapman, Sara Cox, Diarmuid Gavin, Anna Ryder Richardson, and Sally Gunnell for a special jumping class during the evening performance of Thursday 14 December.
The competition format will be unveiled on the night and is guaranteed to keep the audience on the edge of their seats. Contestants will be jumping on borrowed horses in aid of the show’s charity Breast Cancer Haven.
Zara Phillips and Britain’s other 2006 equestrian medal winners will also be parading around the Olympia arena during the Thursday evening performance. All ten medal winning teams, plus individuals have been invited to show off their medals – between them they won 20 gold medals, 13 silver and 17 Bronze, including eight individual titles.
Pony Club members can take advantage of reduced price tickets for the performance. The show organisers are offering members 40% discounts on tickets for Wednesday’s Dressage Grand Prix or Thursday’s Pony Club day and evening show jumping performances if they book for a group of 10 or more.
A Pony Club Masterclass with dressage supremo, Richard Davison will be taking place on Thursday morning followed by the Pony Club Mini Major Relay competition in the afternoon.
