New VOSA booklet launched for horsebox owners
Confused by complicated transport rules? A new booklet has been produced by the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) to clarify regulations for horse owners.
A Guide for Horsebox and Trailer Owners was launched this month by VOSA in collaboration with Horse & Hound, the Pony Club and the British Equestrian Federation, among others.
Key contents include operator licensing, drivers’ hours and tachographs, roadworthiness, vehicle weights and certificates of competence.
The booklet will be officially launched at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in May, but can be downloaded now, via the link below.
