Brigstock International Horse Trials, in Northamptonshire, has secured new joint title sponsorship of its CIC* & CIC** classes (20-22 May).
Local stabling specialist Scotts of Thrapston and feed manufacturer Dodson & Horrell were part-sponsors last year and have increased their commitment for 2011.
“We are delighted that both Scotts and Dodson and Horrell have joined the event,” said event organiser David Laing.
“It means, among other things, we can host an exclusive ‘rider and owner area’, where competitors can relax, have refreshments and watch the action from their own marquee.”
There will also be a new layout and the cross-country courses for the CIC* and CIC** will run through the main arena.
For the lower levels, Brigstock has joined forces with Carlton Horse Trials (30-31 July) to launch the “Pathway of Progression” trophy , also sponsored by Scotts of Thrapston.
The highest-placed combination at BE100 at both Brigstock and Carlton will win the inaugural Scotts Trophy, to be presented at Burghley CCI**** in September, and two free tickets to Burghley.
