    • Former British Eventing (BE) chairman Alex Fox has been re-elected to the board of directors at BE’s annual general meeting (11 December).

    Mrs Fox, who is married to former Olympic pentathlon team gold medallist Jim Fox, was on the board from 2004 before she became chairman in 2007 for a 3 year term.

    Mrs Fox took 55% of the vote and beat 5 other candidates, including H&H hunting reporter Rose Paterson — who is married to the Environment Secretary Owen — to take the position.
