The Blue Lights Horse of the Year Show, for the emergency services, will return to Aintree from 5-8 August.
The show, renamed since last year’s Merseyside Police Equestrian Event, will include open and novice classes in show jumping, dressage and testing the horses’ bravery in simulated “difficult” situations.
Last year’s event raised £6,000 for Riding for the Disabled and attracted 5,000 spectators.
