Kauto Star bar to open at Kempton Park racecourse
A “Kauto Star Bar” is to be created at Kempton Park racecourse, to honour the popular chaser’s five King George wins.
The bar will be in the Clubhouse and Kauto Star’s owner Clive Smith will conduct the official opening ceremony this weekend.
The Kauto StarBar will be filled with memorabilia, including photos, a set of his colours and a painting.
“Kauto Star created history on Boxing Day by becoming the first horse to win the King George VI Chase five times,” said Kempton’s Amy Starkey.
“Although he’s still racing, we’re creating the first of our tributes to him now because he already has a very special place in the hearts of racing fans.”
The bar will be opened on Saturday 25 February.
