Horse dies after being hit by a car


  • A horse has died after being hit by a car in Gloucestershire.

    The horse, belonging to a local riding school, was hit on Tuesday evening (4 November) at 5pm.

    The horse collided with silver Mercedes heading towards Cheltenham, close to the National Star College in Ullenwood.

    Police said that after being attended by the vet the horse was put down on the road. The driver was unhurt.

    Witnesses should contact Gloucestershire police on 0845 0901234.
