Horse & Country TV shortlisted in the Broadcast Digital awards
Horse & Country TV has been shortlisted in the Broadcast Digital awards.
The channel is up for the award in the best specialist channel category.
Other channels shortlisted in the same category include Sky Arts, MTV Hits, Chelsea TV, Teachers TV and Xmas 24.
Jonathan Rippon, head of programming at H&C TV, said: “We are thrilled to be in such good company on the shortlist. This recognition by a leading industry authority demonstrates not only that H&C TV has come a long way in the past year, but also that there is a large and vibrant audience for horse sport and lifestyle programming.”
Progammes shown by H&C TV include the Rolex FEI World Cup™ Jumping and FEI World Cup™ Dressage Series and children’s drama, Saddle Club, as well as viewing from the London International Horse Show at Olympia and The Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials.
The awards will be presented in London on 16 June.
