Golden Horseshoe goes international

  • This year’s prestigious Golden Horseshoe endurance ride will include a 100-mile FEI ride for the first time

The Hilton Herbs Golden Horseshoe endurance event will this year include a two-day 100-mile FEI CEI/A endurance ride for the first time since its inception in 1965.

The ride takes place on Exmoor from 12-14 May. To compete, riders and horses must be advanced level and have successfully completed a 40-mile qualifying ride at 7mph.

There are three set speed classes: the 100-mile Golden Horseshoe; the 75-mile Exmoor Stag and the 50-mile Exmoor Novice. Prizes donated by Hilton Herbs total £3,000.
