Equine only vet practice opens in the Borders

  • A new equine veterinary practice has opened to serve horse owners in the south east of Scotland and north Northumberland.

Equitait Veterinary Practice, the only dedicated equine practice in the area, opened its doors on 5 October and marked the end of its fourth week trading with a successful launch party at the practice headquarters at Edrom Newton Steading in Duns, Berwickshire.

Vet Colin Tait said “We have been delighted by the response and support of the local people. This support will allow us to continue to develop a premier equine-only veterinary practice which will provide unrivalled care for our patients.”

Equitait has an introductory offer whereby no visit fee is payable for the first non-emergency visit.
