Crufts welcomes canine jetsetters


  • Crufts, the world’s greatest dog show returns to The NEC, Birmingham from 8-11 March this prestigious event will welcome more overseas exhibitors than ever due to the relaxation of quarantine laws.

    The event looks set to attract more than 21,500 top dogs and 118,000 visitors in the biggest dog show ever. The Kennel Club has confirmed that the huge entry of canine competitors has been influenced for the first time by the many overseas competitors who are willing to take up the challenge.

    Crufts provides dog-lovers with an unsurpassed canine spectacular, including demonstrations, breed judging, displays, competitions, agility, flyball and gundog competitions, all forerunners to the world-famous “Best In Show” finale.

    In addition to the many displays and competitions “The Kennel Club Village” will provide visitors with an insight into their many products and services, including providing essential information on breeder details, responsible dog ownership, microchippingand pet insurance.

    The Discover Dogs area will accommodate more than 180 breeds of pedigree dogs and their expert handlers, ensuring that potential dog owners can find the breed best suited to their lifestyle. This advice is followed up by The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme, which is the largest and most popular dog training programme in the UK.
