Barbury Castle secures sponsorship from St James’s Place
Barbury Castle International Horse Trials is to be sponsored by St James’s Place Wealth Management for the next three years.
Mike Etherington-Smith, chief executive of British Eventing, said the news is “terrific” for the sport.
The company will sponsor the Wiltshire event from 2010 (9-11 July this year) through to 2012.
“Barbury Castle Estate has emerged as a true centre of excellence across horseracing and horse trials,” said David Bellamy, chief executive of St James’s Place.
“This event provides a superb opportunity to witness first hand some of the highest calibre equestrian sport in the UK”.
Nigel Bunter, of Barbury Castle Estate added “The continued commitment of St James’s Place gives us a secure platform from which to further develop and refine the Barbury International into a major world class event.”
