Welcome to the fresh spring/summer 2015 edit. We’ve hand-selected our favourite products from this season’s ranges from Caldene, Masta and Cottage Craft.

MN_AER140_WT shirtOut competing, looking good often makes you feel good and ride better, so these brands bring together the essential items for you and your horses to look good and feel ace while out and about under the spotlight.

As a dressage aficionado, my favourite pieces in the collection include the beautiful show shirt with crystal look buttons. The material is stretchy and breathable — no more stiff shirts at shows.

caldene jacketThe blue jacket — being worn in the showjumping image — with natty blue patches is also one of my personal favouriets. It’s obviously a strong look in the jumping ring, but it’s also dressage legal. Bonus!

I love the multi-talented Wickmasta rug; it’s been my horse’s show and travel rug this season and it does everything it promises to on the tin. The single removeable belly strap means that it’s ideal for throwing over you horse’s bum if you’ve forgotten your quarter sheet (yes, I did forget mine, that’s how I know).

MN_MA4195Plaiting bands and the portable manager are also absolute lorry essentials – I find it really handy for fussy drinkers at shows and means you don’t have to hold a regular bucket up for them while they decide whether or not the water from a particular venue is actually poisonous…

For eventers who prefer the traditional look, there’s a super quality crank noseband bridle with padded noseband to suit any shape head, while for show bunnies, there’s the plain cavesson version.

CV_CN004_SHEEPSKIN HALF LINED DRESSAGE SADDLECLOTH_WT_078_HRFinally, the sheepskin half pad is a smart addition to any saddle — and a really good ‘cheat’ way of disguising a horse with a long back.

I hope you enjoy the 2015 spring/summer offerings as much as I have.
