Mary King on flying form at Spring Hill
British team member Mary King (pictured) won two classes at Spring Hill on Bank Holiday Monday (27 August). She took the open intermediate on Kings Fancy and intermediate section A on Kings Temptress.
Kitty Boggis led the open intermediate dressage on Opposition Heracles, but two show jumps down and a steady cross-country round dropped her down the leaderboard. James Robinson was second on Comanche, with Oliver Townend third on Topping.
Lisa Maynard was second in section A on Maddie VI, behind Mary. Pippie Polson, 19, finished third on Spring Surprise.
Cassandra Price scored her first intermediate win when she took section B on Carnaval Hill II. Pony European Champions Libby Soley, 16, and Noble Springbok took second in this section. This was a first intermediate for pony and rider.
Selina Elliott was third on Torzo, but improved on that in section C, which she won on Orlando. Dressage leader Polly Williamson was second with Madame Folie Bergere, and Sarah Harrington took third on Tangemere Casanova.
