HSBC announces increase in sponsorship of FEI eventing
HSBC, the International Equestrian Federation’s (FEI) global partner for eventing, has become a platinum sponsor of the sport — the highest sponsorship platform the FEI holds.
Only one other brand, Rolex, enjoys this privileged relationship with the FEI.
Giles Morgan, group head of sponsorship at HSBC, said: “HSBC is thrilled to be platinum sponsor of the FEI.
“It is really exciting for us to be supporting such a dynamic sport as eventing and we are looking forward to taking our cooperation with the FEI to the next level and to assisting in the development of eventing from the grass roots to elite competition.”
FEI secretary general Alex McLin said: “The partnership with the HSBC is a milestone for the FEI and eventing.
“It is a privilege to be associated with such a prestigious brand and we are confident that our partnership will be most beneficial for equestrian sport as a whole.”
