Germany proved her total superiority at the European CIC** Team Championship held at Ovedskloster, Sweden (6-9 September).
Not only did the team take the gold, but German riders also picked up all three individual medals. Julia Mestern won the individual gold on Schorsch 6.
Britain just missed out on a medal, finishing fourth, 38.9 penalties behind bronze medallist the Netherlands, with Belgium taking silver.
This competition, formerly known as Rural Riders, is limited to horses and riders who have not competed at senior three-star level in the past two years and who have never completed a four-star.
Competitors perform a team dressage test with six riders in the arena at once in addition to the normal eventing phases.
