Equestrian clearance website sponsors BE80(T) classes

  • Equestrian website www.equestrianclearance.com is the new sponsor of British Eventing’s (BE) introductory level of classes, the BE80(T) series.

“It is great news that equestrianclearance.com is supporting eventing,” said BE commercial and marketing director Mike Barnes.

BE80(T) classes are aimed at introducing inexperienced riders and horses to eventing. All fences are 80cm high and the T denotes that it is a training class.

This means that BE accredited coaches are on hand at every competition to help riders.

Mr Barnes added: “A company as successful and passionate as equestrianclearance.com will be a great asset to the development of BE training and to those sampling the sport.”

Lorraine Meadowcroft of equestrianclearance.com said the sponsorship fitted well with the company’s client base.

“Many of our customers compete in eventing and this is our way of putting something back into the discipline,” she said.

The sponsorship covers both the BE80(T) series and the British Riding Club series.

BE80(T) classes are open to non-BE members and a training ticket is £10 for horse and rider, regardless of ability.
