David Green salutes top eventer Chatsby

  • Former international eventer Chatsby was put down on 2 July, aged 25.

Owned by Caroline Wells, Chatsby retired from international competition a few years ago, but had continued to event.

Chatsby and David Green competed at the Atlanta Olympics, the Hague World Championships and the Pratoni Open Europeans, as well as winning three-star events.

David told H&H: “He was an amazing horse and a great character. He suddenly succumbed to acute laminitis, which was not treatable.”
