Be a winner at Badminton

  • Make a beeline to the H&H stand at this year’s Badminton Horse Trials for a chance to win a Honda ATK and enjoy a cross-country course walk with Mary King

Equestrian enthusiasts can once again enjoy the annual pilgrimage to this year’s Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials, after the disappointment of last year’s cancellation due to FMD.

Visitors to the event should make a beeline for the Horse & Hound stand where they can win a Honda TRX All Terrain Vehicle (ATV), worth £4,850 plus VAT, plus a full competition outfit from Musto, worth more than £400.

The Honda TRX350 ATV will prove to be an invaluable addition to any yard, with a wide range of optional attachments available to enable you to transport feed and bedding, deliver water, collect muck or maintain your menage.

    WIN WIN WIN

To win the Honda ATV bring your 2 May issue of Horse & Hound along to stand 112 and type the unique number on the front cover into the keypad of the special safe and if the door swings open to reveal the keys to the TRX350, you have won!

To find out more about Honda’s 2002 range of ATV visit www.honda.co.uk/atv

Visitors also have the chance to win a top quality Musto show jacket, a 3-in-1 jacket, a pair of breeches or jodhpurs and a short sleeved competition shirt by simply entering the prize draw on the stand.

Badminton visitors can also claim their free “march for hunting” badge and take advantage of a 30% discount on Horse & Hound subscriptions, with a free bottle of Balvenie whisky.

    Expert course walk

Visitors to the event on Thursday 2 May can look forward to accompanying top event rider Mary King around the new-look cross-country course during a two-hour course walk, in association with NFU Countryside.

Starting at 2.30pm, Mary will guide event enthusiasts around the 30-fence course, providing real insight into the challenge that lays ahead for horse and rider on cross-country day.

Tickets for the course walk cost £14 for NFU Countryside members and £16 for non-members. Contact (tel: 01428 682 292) or visit: www.nfucountryside.co.uk for details.
