Hudson is tops at Towerlands

    Robin Hudson produced a hat-trick of wins at Unex Towerlands’ two-day show in Essex when taking two advanced mediums with his own Oscar XIV, before heading the advanced 100 on his wife Lindsay’s Berineas, reports Ruth Pearce.

    Samantha Collins took the prix st georges on Emma Day’s Durfee Andes, and also led the first day’s elementary qualifier on her Hungarian-bred Bugac Rainbow.

    Those from Bluegate Hall a successful show with a win in an elementary qualifier for Kaye de Graaf and Amando VH, while the medium 61 restricted went to Denise Hulse on her Welsh section D, Manorfields Midas. An excited Charlotte Glover was overall winner of a medium qualifier on Brave Venture.

    South Bucks RDA Group

    Riders travelled from as far as Cardiff to attend the South Bucks Riding for the Disabled Association’s first show, reports Ruth Pearce.

    Sophie Christiansen took the honours on home turf riding Pam Tottman’s Martini Maybe in the Grade One team test, while Daniel Manning and Waveney Luke’s Party Time Too took the Grade III team test.

    Erin Orford was a double Grade II winner on the Para Dressage Training Trust’s Painted Affair, while Tribal Indian took a Grade IV class with Kate McGreggor and a Grade III with Rachel Burdett.
