Richard Davison and Carl Hester head the Woof Wear dressage rankings for 2002
Richard Davison has pushed long time leader and WEG team-mate Emile Faurie off the top of the Woof Wear Grand Prix Rankings to claim the Woof Wear Grand Prix title.
Richard and Ballaseyr Stables’ 16.3hh bay mare Ballaseyr Royale finished the year with 272 points, 21 points ahead of Emile Faurie, with Rascher Hopes and Insterburg.
In the small tour Carl Hester gained 213 points across the year at prix st georges and intermediaire I level. Carl rode Roly Luards’ 16.3hh brown gelding Escapado and Kate Carter’s liver chestnut mare Donner Rhapsody. Runner-up was Sarah Millis with Ludo II and Korenbloem Lothar, with 38 points.
The winning riders will receive their rosettes and prize-money at the Horse & Hound Winter Dressage Championships at Solihull Riding Club on 2-6 April, where they will be invited to perform their freestyle test for the audience.
