An invitation from top dressage trainers

  • A gala dressage evening hosted by the British International Dressage Trainers Foundation this month looks set to inform and entertain

A gala evening featuring Britain’s top dressage trainers is being held on 11 October at Addington EC, Bucks.

Starting at 7.30pm, members of the British International Dressage Trainers Foundation (BIDTF) will demonstrate all aspects of training the horse and rider from novice throughto international level in 20-30 minute sessions.

The climax of the evening will be a quadrille featuring top trainers riding to music compiled and choreographed by David Hunt.

“This evening will be much more dynamic and entertaining than the average lecture demonstration,” says event organiser Michelle Williams. “It’s an ideal evening out for anyone with an interest in dressage, whether competing internationally or just enjoying training at home.”

Tickets are £20 in advance or £25 on the door. Send an SAE and cheque payable to “Dressage Fund” to BIDTF, Uplands Stud, Bowlhead Green, nr Godalming, Surrey GU8 6NW. For more information contact Michelle (tel: 07768 454791).
