Jockey Martin Dwyer is to appeal against the 8-month ban imposed on him by the Indian racing authorities.
Dwyer received a 56-day ban for allegedly preventing his mount, Ice Age, from running on its merits at Mumbai, India, on 17 February.
He contested the ban, which has now been extended for a further 6 months (31 August-30 April).
Suspensions are normally reciprocated by other worldwide racing authorities, including Britain. His appeal will be heard on 7 September.
